How many times have you heard “Practice makes you perfect.”
I would re-word that and say:
“Practice makes you excellent”!
We don’t need to be perfect we need to be excellent.
Next time you do something, do it tending to your excellence and not to perfection.
Excellence takes into consideration who you are, where you are at, what are you inclinations and capabilities and what can be improved considering all of this aspects.
Perfection it is just an imaginary standard which remains utopic and unachievable by nature. It creates frustrations and obsession.
Excellence, on the other hand, creates motivation, rewards, improvement and inevitably the best results!
“Do not follow perfection, follow excellence.”
Have an excellent day!
